WATCH: Mike Evans Trucks the Hell Out of Marshon Lattimore as Both Get Ejected, Replay Suggests Evans Has Hated Lattimore His Whole Life
Today in New Orleans, the Buccaneers and Saints had a heated exchange of words. Early in the fourth quarter on Sunday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ little-brother complex erupted against the New Orleans Saints when Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans took a cheap shot at Marshon Lattimore.
This led to a bench-clearing fight and many ejections. Even though the score is still 3-3 in the fourth quarter, the game is everything but dull. Nobody enjoys initiating fights as much as Mike Evans and Marshon Lattimore. Ejections have resulted from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints’ heated argument.

Mike Evans and Marshon Lattimore ejected during Bucs vs Saints
Lattimore said that Brady should be punished after Tom Brady protested to the referees about the absence of a pass interference call. When Leonard Fournette approached Lattimore to confront him, Evans leaped in to deck him, and a major commotion ensued.

After stifling Buccaneers wide receiver Scottie Miller on an incomplete ball down the sideline, Lattimore got into an argument with Tom Brady and Leonard Fournette. When Lattimore and Fournette began pushing, Evans intervened and threw Lattimore to the ground. That included everyone and required some time to resolve.

In the end, almost every player for both sides on the field participated in the altercation, but Mike Evans and Lattimore were dismissed from the game when the referees determined they were the most at fault.

At the professional level, rivalry and resentment are necessary. We’re all for the Buccaneers and Saints getting into arguments and getting kicked out twice a year. Evans made a wise choice. He sets himself up with a solid block. Although I’m sure that would be considered targeting at the university level, we’re talking about Sunday here.
In any event, it’s a significant loss. The Saints are now playing without their top corner, and the Buccaneers are without their best receiver.
