Taylor claims that although the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had signed him, they released him just as he was getting ready to travel for training camp. Taylor afterward traveled to Canada and signed with the CFL’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He was on the team’s practice roster during the entire season, but he did not play again in 2008. That year, the Blue Bombers were defeated in the 95th Grey Cup.
