“Started Off About Six Years Ago”: Buffalo Bills LB Von Miller Explains the Deep Meaning Behind His Three-Edged Polygon Haircut

The Bills and Rams’ preseason game on Thursday generated a number of topics, not the least of which was Von Miller’s haircut. Since the Buffalo Bills dominated the Los Angeles Rams in the NFL Kickoff game, relatively few people were discussing a pre-game observation that practically everyone had made.

Von Miller of the Bills had a two-sack game, but on social media, his haircut stole the show. Prior to the start of last Thursday’s game against the Rams, Von Miller stunned football fans.

During the game, the newest member of the Buffalo defense removed his helmet, and cameras captured his most recent hairdo.

Von Miller explains his haircut

“A triangle represents manifestation, enlightenment, revelation, and a higher perspective,” Miller wrote on Instagram.

“It is often used to mark the cycles of growth that lead to a higher state of being. Spiritually, it represents a path towards enlightenment or connection to an omnipresent being. Energetically, triangles direct energy and power in the direction which they point.”

“I’ve been doing crazy haircuts my whole entire life and I’ve had this for a while,” Miller said on the podcast.

“It’s funny how it got so much pub right now. Since we’re here, we might as well talk about it. It started off about six years ago with a little itty-bitty triangle and it just grew. Now it has like a meaning behind it. It means three generations, my dad, my brother and me. Also, it means staying neutral or positive, but never negative. Nah, I’m just joking. I just came up with that. It’s just my haircut, man. I just wanted to do something unique and here it is. It’s me.”

Von Miller, who played for the Rams in the Super Bowl, was so little that he nearly just seemed to be a tail. You can try out this garbage because no one is going to criticize you because you are one of the league’s quickest and hardest-hitting defensive players. Miller deserves credit for the haircut’s growing popularity.

Others are now being influenced by Miller to adopt a similar triangular haircut. The Bills defeated the Rams, the defending Super Bowl winners, 31-10, in Week 1 thanks to his “manifestation.”
