In December 2011, Pena relocated to Conquest of the Cage. After defeating Rachael Swatez, she was defeated for the first time by Sarah Moras via TKO following a doctor’s stoppage.

Pena joined the UFC in 2013. Pena became the first woman to win the Ultimate Fighter in the Team Rousey vs. Team Tate Finale. She TKO’d Jessica Rakoczy in the opening round.
