The defensive backs coach at his alma institution, Mount Union, is where Sirianni got his start in coaching. He then moved on to coach wide receivers at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. In 2009, he was also a member of the Kansas City Chiefs. 2013 saw Sirianni sign with the San Diego Chargers.

He would take over the role of the team’s quarterbacks coach in 2014. In 2018, Sirianni became the offensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts. After Doug Pederson was fired as the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles on January 24, 2021, Sirianni was brought on board.
