Buffalo Bills’ Jordan Poyer Fantasy: DB NFL Defensive Data, Stats & Speculations 2022

Player Outlook

Jordan Poyer was selected by the Eagles in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Poyer, a healthy scratch for Philadelphia in Weeks 5 and 6, was released before the Browns grabbed him off waivers two days later. Poyer worked in Cleveland for the following three seasons as a backup punt returner and backup safety.

As a free agent, Poyer agreed to a four-year, $13MM contract with the Bills. Along with fellow newbie to Buffalo Micah Hyde, who had recently signed as a free agent after four years in Green Bay, Sean McDermott, the head coach of the Bills appointed Poyer the starting strong safety.

Jordan Poyer fantasy data

Poyer injured his elbow excessively at the start of August while working out and was out for the entire Bills preseason schedule. The first-team All-Pro pick for 2021 has now resumed non-contact drills, and it now seems like he will soon play in a game.

Despite missing more than three weeks of training camp and the preseason, Poyer‘s kinship with his teammates and experience with the defense has sped up his recovery.

Jordan Poyer continued to spend the majority of those days on the sidelines, discussing plays with his defense counterparts. He claimed that his conditioning had not changed. Poyer is likely considering a two- or three-year deal because he is one of the more experienced safeties in the NFL.
