Vonn Bell is entering the final year of a three-year $18 million contract he signed with the Bengals in 2020. This year will be extremely crucial for the former Ohio State University player to show the front office that he deserves to stay in the team and the $18 million they invested in him was worth the gamble. Bell has captained the team for two years and this will be his third team as the leader of the Cincinnati Bengals.
Bell was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the second round. During his time with the saints, He started 45 games at free safety, strong safety, and nickel corner in four years. In each of his two seasons with the Saints, Bell had 89 tackles. This was a career high for Bell, which he shattered in his first year in Cincinnati. That season, he had 114 tackles. The following season, he added 97 more to his career total.

But given that the Bengals refused to give Jessie Bates the contract he was looking for, suggests that Bell will receive a new contract after this season is done, provided he performs at the same level he has been.
