Green Bay Packers’ Krys Barnes Fantasy: LB NFL Defensive Data, Stats & Speculations 2022
Player Outlook
Krys Barnes is one athlete who has really surprised the Packers. In 2020, he was a UCLA undrafted free agent. His third season with the Packers is soon to begin. He will once again play inside linebacker with De’Vondre Campbell after the team made the decision to tender him back.
Krys Barnes was the Green Bay Packers top inside linebacker two years ago. He may now be the third choice for 2022, after only De’Vondre Campbell and rookie Quay Walker. Barnes just agreed to a one-year contract with the Packers.
Last season, Barnes participated in 16 games for the Packers and had 81 tackles, 58 of which were solo, four passes defended one sack and two fumble recoveries. The second-year professional has established himself as a key member of the Packers’ linebacker unit, starting 23 games over the last two seasons.

Krys Barnes fantasy data
Barnes has been a reliable middle defensive lineman for the Packers the past two years, but how much playing time he receives this year may be influenced by Walker’s progress. His consistency was the issue since he was unable to capitalize on his strong debut season.

In several contests, he just did not perform well, looked lost in pass coverage, and was a problem versus the run. Krys Barnes’ future with the squad is uncertain at the moment. He has, indeed, displayed flashes, but not consistently.
