Washington Commanders’ Cole Holcomb Fantasy: LB NFL Defensive Data, Stats & Speculations 2022
Player Outlook
There is never a better time to prepare ahead than right now, since many dynasty leagues have already scheduled their rookie drafts. Jamin Davis, the other Washington linebacker than Cole Holcomb, may have let down IDP managers last season.
In 2021, Davis was a rookie who was virtually guaranteed to be an IDP stud. He let people down. Cole Holcomb, a third-year linebacker from North Carolina, really stepped up in contrast. After placing LB61 in 2019 and LB147 in 2020, he concluded as the LB13.
In terms of tackles, pass deflections, and interceptions, he achieved career highs. Holcomb is expected to take over as the head of the Washington defense once more if the Commanders don’t make any changes at linebacker in the upcoming summer of 2022.

It’s not difficult to picture Holcomb making the jump into the top five in 2022 for a guy who barely missed the LB1 range in 2018. Before he jumps, make a deal for him.

It’s obvious that if Cole Holcomb plays frequently, he will rank among the league leaders in tackles. Through three seasons, Holcomb has made 143 tackles for every 1,000 snaps played, and in 2021, he played an inside linebacker position-high 980 snaps.

Even if 2021 first-round selection Jamin Davis plays more snaps during his second season, Jon Bostic rather than Cole Holcomb would suffer because of it. In 2021, Holcomb was one of the few players on a forgettable Washington defense who performed at a level equal to or higher than his reputation.
