Awaited UFC 279 Updates : Nate Diaz VS Khamzat Chimaev : Fight card, odds, TV , Streaming, complete guide
Nate Diaz’s final UFC fight may prove to be his most difficult challenge after disagreements with the UFC regarding his contract and potential rivals. Khamzat Chimaev, a rising star, will challenge Nate Diaz on September 10. The bout will take place inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Chimaev, 28, has won three gold medals in the Swedish Nationals. In 2020, he joined the UFC after making his professional debut in 2018, and that year, he won three matches for the organization. Chimaev’s abilities and killer attitude rocked the MMA community.
When the man from Chechnya tested positive for COVID-19 in 2020, difficulties ensued, necessitating the cancellation of many fights with Edwards. He coughed up blood and for a while, thought about retiring. In October 2021, Chimaev made a triumphant return and defeated Li Jingliang through submission. In April, Chimaev defeated Gilbert Burns by unanimous decision in his most recent contest.

He is by no means a straightforward opponent for us. The head coach of Chimaev, Andreas Michael, told MMA Junkie that Nate Diaz would probably profit. “By no means is it not advantageous for Nate; if he accepts this battle, you can assume that he was or is being paid. You know, he won’t just agree to this fight at random. So it’s a good fight to look forward to!
Anyone, anywhere, anytime 😤
