Player Outlook

For Zach Ertz, the 2021 season signified the end of an era. He was moved to the Arizona Cardinals in the middle of his eighth season with the Philadelphia Eagles. He was instrumental in Philadelphia’s Super Bowl LII run, with seven receptions for 67 yards and a score in the decisive game.

In 2021, Zach Ertz had 763 yards and five scores on 74 receptions on 112 targets. He now appears to be Kyler Murray’s top choice following DeAndre Hopkins’ suspension.

Given that Trey McBride was selected by the club and that Ertz will age 32 in November, a productivity decline later in the season is undoubtedly a possibility.
