Justin Fields, the quarterback of the Chicago Bears, maybe a tone of something or a tone of nothing. Justin Fields’ predicament during the previous season was dire from the start. Fields was thrown into the starting quarterback position with no support, and the whole city of Chicago wanted Matt Nagy to be fired as the team’s head coach.
He certainly struggled a lot, but that was to be expected, given his circumstances. In the new system, it is hoped that he would advance significantly. Fields will be selected as a high-end No. 2 quarterback and is probably a target for managers that decide to wait for players with a strong upside in the late rounds.
Fields’ running prowess and the glimpses he shown in the last minutes of his rookie season are what make him so attractive, but there are certain warning signs that should be taken into account, starting with the fact that he is adapting to his second NFL system in as many years.

Fields threw ten more interceptions than touchdowns during his debut season with the Chicago Bears, which resulted in a 2-8 record (7). Although he had flaws in his accuracy rate (58.9) and yards per throw attempt (6.9), he was a skilled ball carrier (72/420/2).

Justin Fields threw for more than 210 yards in one game over his first six starts, but only managed to complete five combined touchdown passes. Fields are probably still at least a year away from being a regular fantasy starter, but if you combine him with another quarterback in the same late-round bracket, the upside is worth chasing.
