Cincinnati Bengals’ Joe Burrow Fantasy: QB NFL Data & Stats Speculations 2022
Player Outlook
The many knee issues that caused Joe Burrow to miss a majority of his first season should not have had an impact on his performance. He just completed a season in which he led the Cincinnati Bengals to a Super Bowl trip.
Although they narrowly lost to the Los Angeles Rams, the Bengals’ future appears to be promising. His offensive line was improved by the Bengals throughout the summer in an effort to lessen the number of times he is struck in the backfield.

Given their summer offensive line upgrades, it stands to reason that the Bengals will further trust Burrow and use him as a passer this season, but it’s not a given. Keep in mind that Burrow contributed one 300-yard performance and two two-score performances to the Bengals’ four-game Super Bowl run.

It’s not good news, but his recuperation schedule should allow him to practice for a week or two before the start of Week 1. Burrow lacks the upside in rushing that players like Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen do.

In 2021, he played in six fewer games but rushed three more times, demonstrating that his domination will come from the pocket. Burrow could finish as one of the top three quarterbacks in fantasy football with the right supporting cast and additional protection.
