Seattle Seahawks’ DK Metcalf Fantasy: WR NFL Data & Stats Speculations 2022

Player Outlook

There is no doubt that the departure of Russell Wilson is significantly going to hurt DK Metcalf and puts him in a tough spot with fantasy team owners. Metcalf is now an upside No. 3 wide receiver who should not be drafted before Round 5 in PPR leagues. There is an expectation that Metcalf will be able to show his true potential only in 2023 when the Seahawks draft a proper quarterback for their team.

During the off-season, there were a lot of rumors that the Seahawks would trade him as he wanted a huge contract and they did not know whether the team would oblige. A few weeks ago, the Seahawks announced they had agreed to a three-year, $72 million extension. Metcalf is without a doubt the best offensive player in a team that is rebuilding at the moment, so we can expect him to see a lot of the ball.
