Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be headed by Tom Brady as they head into the 2022 season. Ever since he joined Brady has done a good job of identifying certain players and grooming them in order to fit his style of play. Leonard Fournette is one such player. ‘Lombardi Lenny’ impressed the front office and Brady with his performances last season, which resulted in him getting a fat three-year deal with his old team worth $21 million up to $24 million.
Buccaneers are expected to have short-term issues with passing which will mean that a lot of Brady’s offense will find its way to Fournette well into the mid-season which will be a huge positive for managers looking to draft him into their respective fantasy NFL teams.

Given his performances last season and the new deal he has signed, it all but solidifies his place as the guaranteed number one start for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Fournette ranked fifth in fantasy points and fourth in expected fantasy points per game before his Week 15 injury, leading all running in receptions (62). Last year under Arians, Fournette averaged, 90.4 total yards per game with 10 total touchdowns in 14 games.

‘Fat Lenny’ was a force to be reckoned with in his passing game, catching 82% of his targets and averaging 6.6 yards per grab only two other players in the NFL had more than him last season. Therefore, Fournette is a solid bet for a top-10 RB position in the league this season.
