Despite the high hopes for the regular season, the Browns struggled throughout the year due to quarterback Baker Mayfield’s inconsistent play and a succession of injuries to the previous top choice.

Chubb will attempt to replicate his performance from his past three Pro-Bowl seasons in the next season while looking for greater consistency from those around him. Additionally, Cleveland released Odell Beckham Jr. in November, which led to an 8-9 overall record and a missed postseason appearance.

Chubb’s presence on the Cleveland Browns roster is undoubtedly a hit. Managers of fantasy football should do the same. Chubb should be selected early in the majority of 2022 fantasy football mock draughts, not only among running backs but across the board. Chubb and the Browns agreed to a three-year, $36.6 million contract extension on July 31, 2021. Chubb was one of five Cleveland Browns players later that year that were chosen for the NFL Pro Bowl.

Chubb overcame the obstacles in 2021 to end with a Pro-Bowl season and place in the top 10-15 scorers in both standard and PPR systems. The greatest issue at hand is the Watson situation, but with Brissett at the helm, it’s difficult to see the Browns offence performing to its full potential this year.
