Sean Strickland Brands ‘Liberal’ ‘Cesspool’ Twitter ‘Dead’ After Elon Musk Reportedly Pulls Out of His Deal to Acquire the Company

UFC middleweight Sean Strickland is not someone who holds back on his thoughts. ‘Tarzan’ has found himself in trouble multiple times for his words. This has prominently been the case on social media where Sean Strickland has had his Twitter, as well as Instagram, accounts deleted multiple times for transphobic and homophobic comments.

In a recent video, ‘Tarzan’ shared his thoughts on Elon Musk’s failed attempt at taking over Twitter. He said, “You know, Twitter has just become a liberal safe place, f***ing cesspool and I don’t think that my brand of f***ing white trash redneck is meant to be on Twitter. So no more tweet tweets from this guy. It’s just hard, you know? Everytime I post something I get reported and then, you know… Twitter, it’s a cesspool, like it’s just downhill, man. Elon Musk is pulling out. Like, Twitter is dead.”

The richest man in the world, Elon Musk, shocked the world when he put forward an official bid of $44 billion to take over Twitter. Musk is an avid Twitter user and believed that it was not being run the right way and that the app was curbing freedom of speech. However, after months of back and forth, it appears as though Musk is pulling out of the deal as he does not believe the company is rightly reporting the number of bot accounts that are there. A clause in their purchase contract means that Musk might have to pay as much as $1 billion for backing out of the deal.

Sean Strickland shares his thoughts on falling short against Alex Pereira

Strickland took on Alex Pereira at UFC 276 in what was a number one contender fight. The winner would take on Adesanya if he got past Cannonier, which he did.

In an interview with ‘The Schmo’ Strickland said that he had no regrets the way he approached the fight and that if he was matched up against Pereira again, he would opt to stand and bang. Only this time he would make sure to defend against the left hook. Furthermore, Strickland shared the struggles of losing half his paycheck as he had to settle for a Hyundai over a Hellcat that he planned on buying if he won the fight.
