How are Tennessee Titans Spending Their Money in the NFL?

The Titans play their home games at Nissan Stadium in the American Football Conference (AFC) South division of the National Football League (NFL). The Oilers joined the NFL in 1970 as part of the AFL-NFL merger after winning the first two AFL championships as well as four division titles.

With Hall of Famers Earl Campbell and Warren Moon, the Oilers made successive trips to the playoffs from 1978 to 1980 and 1987 to 1993, respectively. The Titans have only ever participated in one Super Bowl (XXXIV), where they fell prey to the St. Louis Rams 23-16.

The Titans had a fair deal of postseason success in the early 2000s under the leadership of Steve McNair and Eddie George, making the playoffs in all but one season from 1999 to 2003, but only twice in the next thirteen seasons. The Titans have enjoyed six straight winning seasons since 2016, which is the most since they were the Houston Oilers. During that time, they have also made four postseason berths.
