Jorge Masvidal Wants to ‘Break Conor McGregor’s Face’ Before He ‘Overdoses on Cocaine’

UFC welterweight Jorge Masvidal has had Conor McGregor in his scope for a meaningful period of time, and ‘Gamebred’ recently appeared in an interview with ‘BLOCK ASSET’ and talked about facing the Irishman. Masvidal had some strong words for McGregor and it’s clear as day that there’s no love lost between both men.

Jorge Masvidal said that he wanted to get an easy money fight with McGregor before the latter ‘overdoses on cocaine’, which is certainly a statement that’s worth taking note of. Moreover, ‘Gamebred’ was convinced that Conor McGregor would either do harm to himself or others and wanted to secure a fight booking with him before that happens.

“Before this guy overdoses on cocaine and then the fight never happens and I don’t get to make all that easy money, I just want to break Conor’s face. “Let’s get that paycheck, let’s get that out of the way, sell the most pay-per-views ever before this guy does harm to himself or somebody else, and I just like boom, get that check real quick cause I got kids, right? I need the f*cking money.”

Jorge Masvidal also prepared for contingencies and spoke about facing one of the most exciting welterweight fighters on the roster if he fails to get a fight with Conor McGregor. Masvidal targeted Gilbert Burns, whose stock is exceedingly high after he went to war with Khamzat Chimaev earlier this year.

“Also, if I can’t get Conor I’m thinking probably Gilbert,” Masvidal said. “Gilbert’s a good fight for me. I like him as a fighter because he comes to fight. He comes in to either submit a guy or knock a guy the f*ck out. We’re gonna give the fans a f*cking bloody fight if that goes down.” [h/t mmajunkie.com]

Jorge Masvidal is in clear need of a big win in order to secure the notoriety he had garnered back in 2019. ‘Gamebred’ has lost his last three fights on the trot and another setback could be a massive hindrance in his ability to pull in big numbers at the box office.
