The fight was truly a back-and-forth war and many fans are comparing the action to Jon Jones vs Alexander Gustafsson 1. Wherever this fight eventually ranks in the minds of fans, it will certainly go down as one of the best title fights that the light heavyweight division has ever seen.

Glover Teixeira was on his way to defend his belt for the first time, however, the Brazilian lost the plot with just seconds left in the fight. However, despite the defeat, he is far from discouraged and is keen to keep going and mount yet another career comeback.
