“The Guy Probably Jerks off to Cartoons”- Sean Strickland Takes a Hilarious Dig at Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya
Middleweight Sean Strickland takes on Alex Pereira in an exciting matchup at UFC 276 in July this year. Apart from being a good fighter, Strickland has made a name for himself for his controversial opinions on everything from his fellow fighters to the current events going on in his home country. ‘Tarzan’ has often crossed lines and found himself banned on social media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter.
However, Strickland’s controversial takes are a big reason for his fan following in the UFC. In a recent interview with ‘The Schmo’ Strickland took a dig at Israel Adesanya for a rather personal choice.
In the interview, he said, “I mean he might be the champ, but after July 2nd he might not be the champ anymore. Nah man, I like Izzy besides the anime. He is a tough mother fu**er you know, besides the anime. The guy probably jerks off to cartoons. I hold that against you. I guarantee you Izzy you have jerked off to cartoons once in your life don’t f**king lie to me. That needs to be said.”
‘Tarzan’ went on to share his thoughts about his upcoming fight against Alex Pereira. He said, “You know, I might wrestle to make it a little bit easier. But I train with world-class kickboxers, I train with the guy that beat you and I don’t have an issue. So maybe we kickbox, maybe we wrestle who knows?”

Sean Strickland to cement himself as the number one contender with a win over Alex Pereira?
‘Tarzan’ is currently on a six-fight win streak which includes wins over the likes of Uriah Hall and Jack Hermansson among others. He is currently ranked 4th in the UFC’s middleweight division and a win over Alex Pereira will surely put him within reach for a title shot.
The champion Israel Adesanya has welcomed the idea of a potential fight against Strickland. But in order to get to a title shot, Strickland will have to get through one of the best and most accomplished strikers in the UFC.
