‘Crazy Fighter With a Crazy Style!’- Jan Blachowicz Previews Explosive Match-Up Between Glover Teixeira and Jiří Procházka at UFC 275

UFC 275 is fast approaching and fight fans are excited to see how aging champion Glover Teixeira deals with one of the most explosive fighters on the roster in Jiri Prochazka. Teixeira has had one of the most inspirational career resurgences since last competing for the belt against Jon Jones all the way back in 2014 in a losing effort.

However, after submitting Jan Blachowicz last year, Glover Teixeira became the oldest first-time UFC champion in company history. The clash between Teixeira and Prochazka is gaining a lot of traction amongst fans and fighters, with several notable names chiming in on the possible winner of the contest.

Jan Blachowicz previews UFC 275’s main event

Jan Blachowicz spoke out on ‘The MMA Hour’ and provided his analysis for the upcoming main event for UFC 275. The Polish fighter revealed that he was supporting Glover Teixeira in the match-up, as he wanted to rematch the man who took his belt away from him last year.

However, he also recognized that Jiri Prochazka was one of the most dynamic fighters on the roster, and getting the better of him would be easier said than done. Moreover, Blachowicz also teased a possible appearance in Singapore to watch both men square off live.

“I like both of them, but I keep thinking a little bit for Glover because I would like to take a rematch and take the belt from his hands,” Blachowicz said. “But we will see. But yes, I will be supporting Glover.”

“If Glover take down Jiri, then he will win the fight,” he added. “But you know, Jiri is a crazy fighter with a crazy style, weird style, but it’s working in a good way. So we will see, 50/50, we will see. I’m curious. Maybe I’m gonna be there, we’ll see. We’re working on this to be there.” [h/t bjpenn.com]

The light heavyweight division has undergone several changes since Jon Jones relinquished the belt, and the current crop of top-tier talent has most certainly stepped up in a massive way. It remains to be seen how UFC 275 will perform on the international market once the buy rate numbers come in.
