Jorge Masvidal Hits Out at ‘Idiot’ Michel Pereira for Using His Wife to Create False Allegations in a Bid to Secure a Fight Against Him
UFC welterweight Michel Pereira recently secured a split-decision win over veteran Santiago Ponzinibbio in the co-main event at UFC Fight Night 206. Following the win, ‘Demolidor’ called out Nate Diaz and ‘BMF’ titleholder Jorge Masvidal for a fight.
Pereira’s reason for wanting to fight Masvidal was rather unique, to say the least. The beef between the two men stems front the fact that Masvidal messaged Pereira’s wife. In the post-fight interview, he elaborated on the matter, saying, “Jorge Masvidal because I have a little bit of a problem with him, and I want to settle it.”
He continued, “So he sent an emoji to my wife – the emoji with the two hands together like (praying). He sent it to my wife and didn’t send it to me. And you know, I never actually crossed paths with him, never had the chance to ask him. So I figured, you know, I really want to understand, but might as well understand inside the octagon. So we’ll just settle it over there.”
‘BMF’ Jorge Masvidal took to Twitter to clear up the allegations made against him. He shared a screenshot of his conversations with Pereira’s wife which clearly shows he was not the first to message, rather he just replied to one of the messages she sent him.
How crazy a world and how far has society fallen that this idiot @UfcPereira would use his wife to hopefully 1 day get a paycheck and create a fake narrative to try and get a fight with me when clearly he sees she slid in my dm? Jorge Masvidal set for a return to the UFC in 2022?
‘Gamebred’ Jorge Masvidal is currently facing legal troubles for his attack on Colby Covington outside a steakhouse in Miami.

The common consensus is that Masvidal will be out for a significant period of time and will most likely not compete in 2022, if that is the case, yet another big name in the UFC will be unavailable to them.
