“How Many Bridges Do You Burn…”- Conor McGregor Promises to ‘Say a Prayer’ for Tony Ferguson in a Now-Deleted Tweet

UFC megastar Conor McGregor took to social media and fired back at Tony Ferguson who has been in the media for comments he made recently. ‘El Cucuy’ blasted UFC President Dana White and the company as a whole, going so far as to call the UFC bossman a ‘drug dealer’ for the way he pays his fighters and the way he goes about the business of promotion.

Ferguson also shared several grievances at the media day for UFC 274 and his struggles with his management team are well known. Ferguson and McGregor were from the same management stable of Paradigm before Tony Ferguson had plenty of negative things to say about the company.

However, it seems that his recent complaints have not been met with a sympathetic ear from former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor.

“Tony Ferguson, who changes representation around 4 times a year, is saying it’s someone else fault he is in the position he is in. How many bridges do you burn before you look yourself in the mirror and say “maybe it’s me that’s the issue” God bless you pal, I’ll say a prayer.”

Tony Ferguson has a lot on his mind ahead of UFC 274

It’s no surprise that ‘El Cucuy’ had an explosive media day before his fights as he’s often extremely candid with his critiques of various matters. Considering the fact that he’s not one to do many interviews, fans rarely get any insight into his views of the fighting game.

However, his latest media day scrum left nothing unsaid as he unabashedly went after UFC President Dana White. He even lamented how he was stripped of his status as an interim lightweight champion several years ago and it’s clear he holds grudges against several people.

However, it’s important that Tony Ferguson doesn’t lose sight of his assignment at UFC 274. He is tasked with taking on Michael Chandler who is no easy outing for anyone in the division. Moreover, Ferguson has brutally lost his recent fights, albeit to top competition, and will want to return in fine form on Saturday night.
