“You & Me Locked in a Room Who Makes It Out Alive”- Kamaru Usman Issues a Massive Challenge to Jake Paul and Canelo Alvarez in His Latest Tweet

UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman is currently nursing a hand injury that has kept him on the sidelines since his last title defense against Colby Covington at UFC 268 in November 2021. Since then, ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ has shifted his focus toward a boxing match against Canelo Alvarez.

Over the past few days, Usman has found himself in a war of words against YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul and Showtime executive Stephen Espinoza. In one of his tweets, Usman claimed that the sport of boxing was ‘dying’ which did not sit well with Paul and Espinoza.

Paul responded to the tweet saying, “Kamaru Usman: “boxing is dying” Also Kamaru Usman: “pls Canelo fight me for a payday.” ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ responded to the Paul’s tweet saying, “You’re really good at this internet tough guy shit I give you that. 2 questions for you…1. You & Me locked in a room who makes it out alive? 2. Saul & I locked in a room who makes it out alive? I like your energy though.”

As always Paul had the last say in the matter when he shared a picture of Usman getting choked out saying, “me and you locked in a room together… sounds like a good time to me 😉 I’ll bring the fuzzy handcuffs.”

Kamaru Usman vs Jake Paul a fight that will eventually take place?

‘The Problem Child’ announced that he will return to action on August 13th. At this point in time, he does not have an opponent in place for his big return. The current front runner seems to be Anderson Silva if he is able to secure a win in his upcoming fight. Other possible opponents include the likes of Tommy Fury.

Kamaru Usman

In the past, Jake Paul has called out Kamaru Usman for a fight. Although Usman has never expressed any interest in facing him, if the fight against Canelo falls apart, ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ might consider doing a fight against Paul since he will also be a massive payday.
