WATCH:- Conor McGregor Takes His Brand New $3.6 Million Lamborghini Yacht for a Spin

Conor McGregor entered the UFC as a two-weight world champion in cage warriors. At the time, ‘The Notorious’ was earning a meager wage from fighting and was surviving on food stamps and welfare checks provided by the government of Ireland. Fast forward a few years and Conor McGregor is the biggest draw in combat sports and was the highest-paid athlete last year.

‘The Notorious’ meticulously crafted his rise to the top. His over-the-top personality, along with his ability to deliver on bold predictions, instantly made him a fan favorite capable of selling massive pay-per-views for the UFC. Just last year alone in his two fights with Dustin Poirier, McGregor sold over three million PPVs. All the success has allowed McGregor to enjoy the finer things in life which he gladly shares with his fans on Instagram. 

His most recent purchase being a $3.6 million yacht dubbed ‘Supercar of the Sea’. McGregor placed his order for the Lamborghini Tecnomar 62 yacht a few years back and finally took delivery yesterday. The yacht is a collaboration between Lamborghini and Tecnomar yachts and the design is inspired by the Lamborghini Sian. 

The yacht is 63- feet and powered by twin MAN V12 engines, each capable of producing 2000hp. Which allows it to reach a top speed of 60-knots making it one of the fastest yachts in the world. Additionally, there are only 63 being produced for the entire world, with McGregor buying number 12 in honor of his Whiskey company ‘Proper 12’.

Conor McGregor’s record-breaking 2021 earnings 

In 2021, Conor McGregor beat out the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and Roger Federer, among others, to clinch the top spot as the world’s highest-paid athlete. ‘The Notorious’ pocketed a cool $180 million last year $60 million more than second-placed Lionel Messi, who made $120 million.

Much of McGregor’s earnings last year came from the sale of a portion of his Whiskey company to Proximo spirits for $150 million. Which meant that McGregor earned $30 million from the sport of MMA.
