‘He’s More Dangerous’- Former UFC Bantamweight Champion Predicts the Winner of Aljamain Sterling vs Petr Yan

Former UFC bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw spoke to the media at UFC 273 taking place at the VyStar veterans memorial arena in Jacksonville, Florida. Chiefly, this is the first time Dillashaw is extensively speaking to the media ever since he made his comeback and defeated Cory Sandhagen.

The fight proved to be a massive success for Dillashaw who has now positioned himself as a marquee contender in the bantamweight division. In fact, Dillashaw came to see UFC 273 with the intention to come off as the sole number one contender in the eyes of both the fans and UFC boss, Dana White.

The 17-4 fighter was asked to predict the winner of the co-main event for UFC 273 which happens to be the division that he’s looking to secure gold at. Dillashaw’s prediction was clear and precise and it was evident that he wasn’t uncertain about his pick.

Dillashaw predicted that the Russian ace in Yan would come out as the clear winner in the fight against his rival. He also talked about how beating Yan would go a long way in significantly adding to his legacy. Yan is primed to be a massive entity in the sport and he will in the spotlight for years to come.

“I’d prefer Yan. You know I think he’s the better of the fighter. He’s more dangerous, he’s better. He’s just all round better for my legacy to beat Petr Yan. You never know what’s going to happen tonight. I highly think Yan is going to win and I think that that’s the best fight to make for me.”
