“No Fakes, No Faints, No Level Changes”- Henry Cejudo Offers Harsh Criticism for Conor McGregor on His Latest Training Video

Conor McGregor has been out of action ever since his horrific injury at UFC 264 against Dustin Poirier. Injuries such as the one McGregor sustained take a significant time to recover from and require a lot of care and attention. Given the position that ‘The Notorious’ is in, there is no doubt that he was given the best treatment money can buy to make sure that he is 100% when he returns to action in the UFC.

McGregor has now started resuming training. Although he can not train MMA, ‘The Notorious’ has been posting clips of him working on his boxing. A recent video posted by McGregor showed him practicing his boxing skills at the Crumlin Boxing Club where he first started his training in combat sports. The caption read, “Think of your straights as swords, and your hooks as hammers.”

Fellow two-division UFC world champion Henry Cejudo replied to the tweet with some valuable information for McGregor on his boxing. He said, “Everything is done naked. No fakes, no faints, no level changes. But you think your going to get a different result. You work to much on combinations where you should be working entries, set ups, and setting traps. Just a tip from the goat mahhhh.”

Conor McGregor to return to a title shot after being out for a year?

McGregor has been out of action since July 2021. Last year was the first time since 2016 that McGregor competed more than once in the UFC. Unfortunately for ‘The Notorious’, both fights did not go his way and he has now lost three of his last five fights. The former champion’s last win at lightweight was six years back when he won the title against Eddie Alvarez.

In recent tweets, McGregor seems certain that his return will be for UFC gold. Whether it will be at lightweight or welterweight remains to be seen. Needless to say, this is not something McGregor deserves given his recent record. However, he is still the biggest draw in the UFC by far and since it will make a lot of sense business-wise for the UFC, it will not be surprising if he is given a title shot right away.
