Dana White Reveals How a Dinner With The Rock Led to an Investment in Howler Head Whiskey

Along with the Fertitta brothers, Dana White transformed the UFC from a company that was going out of business to the world leader in MMA. White has been the face of the UFC since day one and has not only created a globally recognizable brand but also created a sport in itself.

In over two decades, as the President of the UFC, White has amassed a princely fortune for himself, which allows him to enjoy the finer things in life. One such passion White has is the alcohol business, which he is now a part of through Howler Head whiskey.

In a podcast with the Nelk Boys, Dana White details how he entered the liquor business through Howler Head. He said, “I was at dinner with The Rock one night, and I always wanted to get into a liquor… and we were talking about it that night and he’s like you know what you’re in let’s do it. Then he called me back two days later and said sh*t man I am sorry there is no more, there is no more to give I did not realize that night.”

White continued, “Then his agent calls me back two days later and goes ‘you’re not going to believe this there is a guy that wants to do a liquor deal and he’s looking for somebody and I told him he should talk to you. We hit it off and he sent me over like 60 bottles of liquor.”
