LaMarcus Aldridge is an NBA basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets in the United States. He was a two-year member of the Texas Longhorns’ basketball team. Aldridge was the second overall pick in the NBA draft in 2006. He joined with the San Antonio Spurs in 2015 after nine seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers.
After the Spurs bought out his contract, he signed with the Brooklyn Nets in March 2021. Due to an abnormal heartbeat, he retired after two weeks but returned to the Nets the following season after gaining medical clearance.
