Knicks G Immanuel Quickley enters health and safety protocols
Guard Immanuel Quickley became the latest member of the New York Knicks to enter the NBA’s health and safety protocols on Friday.
He will miss Saturday’s game against the Celtics in Boston, the team said.
Quickley joins Kevin Knox, Obi Toppin, RJ Barrett and Quentin Grimes in the COVID-19 protocols.
The 22-year-old Quickley, who is in his second NBA season, is averaging 10.2 points, 2.6 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 29 games (one start). In a 116-103 win over the Houston Rockets on Thursday, Quickley played 32 minutes and scored 24 points with four assists and four rebounds.

The Celtics also are facing COVID-19 issues. They will host the Golden State Warriors Friday night without big men Al Horford and Grant Williams and forward Jabari Parker, all of whom are in the NBA’s health and safety protocols.
