Hawks F Solomon Hill hamstring out for season

Atlanta Hawks forward Solomon Hill will miss the rest of the season with a torn hamstring.

Hill left Sunday’s loss to the Charlotte Hornets with an injured right hamstring and an MRI on Monday revealed a torn tendon, the team announced Wednesday.

The 30-year-old veteran will undergo surgery to repair the damage.

Hill averaged 1.8 rebounds, 0.6 points and 10.7 minutes in 13 games (one start) this season, his second year with the Hawks.

A first-round pick by Indiana in 2013, Hill has career averages of 5.5 points and 3.1 rebounds in 448 games (189 starts) with the Pacers (2013-16), New Orleans Pelicans (2016-19), Memphis Grizzlies (2019-20), Miami Heat (2020) and Hawks.
