Things are going crazy as the free agency is approaching. There are a ton of Lakers trade rumors surrounding the league. I think the Los Angeles Lakers is the only team that is getting so much heat. Even though there 2021 NBA season was not the best then too the NBA free agents are eager to make a move to this team. Recently, Spencer Dinwiddie showed interest in returning home and joining the Lakers for the upcoming season. The Lakers love is upsurging to extreme levels.

A vicious circle of Lakers trade rumors has been generated. I mean there are players who want to play for the Lakers then there are teams who want those players. Ultimately there is the team of Lakers who doesn’t give a damn. Consider Kyle Lowry for a second. He said that he wants to play with the king which simply means he showed interest in the Lakers. However, a different team New Orleans Pelicans which is desperate to sign Kyle Lowry.

Amid Lakers trade rumours can Spencer Dinwiddie really make it?

In the previous NBA seasons, the Los Angeles Lakers have shown a huge interest in signing Dinwiddie. However, nothing would have been materialised. Now after a whole season of suffering the Brooklyn Nets star is hoping to join the Lakers. I think that his previous season’s ACL injury is a huge issue for the Lakers to consider. They already have a tier-one player – Anthony Davis whose health conditions are uncertain. SIgning one more uncertain player won’t be good for the Lakers.

Also, Spencer Dinwiddie will be demanding a paycheck equals to or greater than $12.3 million. However, the Los Angeles Lakers will not be comfortable paying a huge amount like that. They don’t even have that cap space. Even if they try to sign Dinwiddie then they will not be able to retain their existing free agents. Considering the current situation this trade would only be possible if Dinwiddie takes a large pay cut to return home and eventually into the Lakers.
