I don’t think you’ll hear a grumble from Trey Mancini about not making the All-Star Game. A year back he was going through chemotherapy for Stage 3 Colon Cancer, simply the way that he’s playing baseball to such a level is sufficient to celebrate. I don’t think a normal person can do so. Trey Mancini is a warrior who really made it. First, the man defeated cancer and now he is shooting home runs in MLB.
What do you think about Trey Mancini’s selection in Home Run Derby?
Trey Mancini wasn’t placed in the homer derby since they felt terrible sympathetic to him or anything. However, they are placing him in on the grounds that he’s truly damn acceptable. 14 homers on the season, the same sum as Nick Castellanos, Bo Bichette, and Miguel Sano. All that in a short span of time is just incredible and that is why he deserves a spot in Colorado.
Breaking: According to industry sources, Major League Baseball has extended an invitation to Orioles’ 1B Trey Mancini to compete in the 2021 Home Run Derby. The Orioles aren’t standing in his way. He’s psyched to do it. My column from earlier this week: https://t.co/epoDXmW8ZI

Adding Trey Mancini to the field is simply amazing. After a long time, MLB accomplished something right. That far a strong field with Shohei Ohtani, Pete Alonso, and Trey. Going to be some beast bombs hit and I believe it’s protected to say that Trey will have a fair measure of individuals pulling for him. Relatively few individuals thought he’d be back playing baseball this well after last year, it’s incredible to perceive how he bounced back.
