4 Players On The Do Not Draft List Fantasy Football 2023…
Here is a player from every position that you are going to make sure you don’t draft in fantasy football.
Tight End: Tyler Higbee
In 2022, Tyler Higbee finished as the TE6, just behind Evan Engram. So why is he going as the TE16 this year? Well its simple, Cooper Kupp is coming back from injury. In 2022, with Cooper Kupp out, TE Tyler Higbee became the most targeted player of the team with 108 targets, to put that into perspective how much the Rams used Cooper Kupp he played half the amount of games as Higbee and only had 10 less targets than him in 2022. However, in 2021 when Kupp had his triple crown season, Kupp had 191 targets, 20 more than any other WR in the league. With Kupp coming back from injury in 2023, its evident he will be fed the ball in this terrible WR core, and if Kupp target share goes up he will be taking some away from Tyler Higbee. He will regress in 2023 due to Kupp coming back, do not draft him in 2023.

Quaterback: Dak Prescott
Although many of the INTs Dak threw last year weren’t his fault, he still lead he league in INTs and that isn’t a risk i would be willing to take again on Dak, especially at the QB10 Spot. There are so many better valued QBs you can get later in the draft such as Geno Smith, who i am a major fan on in 2023. Smith is in a better offense then Dak and he is the QB15, you can get him almost 50 picks later than Dak. Dak is still a great QB but he isn’t a player i would be willing to take a pick on so early in the draft while their is still so much more reliable talent. Besides most RBs on the board in rounds 4-6th have very high upside and you would be a fool not to take a chance on one of them.
Wide Receiver: Keenan Allen
Keenan Allen isn’t half the player he used to be, and there is no point of taking a chance on him in round 5 when he target share is going to be way down given the addition of Quentin Johnston. Between Allen, Williams and now Johnston, there will be a lot of targets to go around this offense. Allen is also coming off an injury riddled season, having only played ten games. With guys like Amari Cooper, Calvin Ridley, and Terry McLaurin all still likely on the board by that point, I would rather draft them given the uncertainty of Allen’s situation in LA.
Quentin Johnston absolutely MOSSING his defender 😳
Johnston and Justin Herbert have reportedly had a “special connection” so far at Chargers training camp.
Johnston’s speed and size have reportedly caused “issues” for almost every Chargers’ DB he’s faced.

Running Back: Joe Mixon
The Bengals offense is clearly a run first offense with Chase and Higgins the only real fantasy points I see Mixon scoring is in the redzone because he is not a big play threat on the ground. Mixon has also showed signs of regression through the last 2 years of his career it isn’t out of the picture to say he has the worst year of his career this upcoming season. Mixon is going as the RB17 ahead of Dameon Pierce and J.K Dobbins 2 guys who i am massive fans of and will have much higher work loads than that of Mixon’s. Do Not draft Mixon in 2023
