3 Reasons why Philadelphia Eagles have odds of winning Super Bowl 57

The Philadelphia Eagles will attempt to make the playoffs for the fifth time in six seasons in 2022. When the team last achieved that accomplishment, Andy Reid, they made four straight trips to the NFC Championship Game, culminating in a defeat to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXIX.

With their first Super Bowl victory in 2018, the Eagles began a run of four playoff appearances in the preceding five years, working through their Patriot demons in the process. With a predicted victory total of 9.5, Philadelphia enters the season as 28-1 long odds to win the Super Bowl this year.  Brown & Smith ought to add some punch to the Eagle’s offense.

1)  AJ Brown

Hurts’ receiving group will have a substantial upgrade this season thanks to the Eagles’ trade of Pro Bowl receiver AJ Brown to the Titans in exchange for a first- and third-round pick. In order to commit to a long-term stay in Philadelphia, Brown later agreed to a four-year, $100 million agreement with the organization. Brown has 2,995 receiving yards and 24 touchdowns in three seasons as a pro.

Alongside rising second-year wideout DeVonta Smith and skilled tight end Dallas Goedert, he right away assumes the role of top receiver for the Eagle’s offense. Miles Sanders, a fourth-year running back, hasn’t played a full season since his first one and didn’t score a touchdown in 2021. When Sanders is running well, Philadelphia’s offense performs significantly better, therefore they’d love to see him play in all 17 of their games this year.

2) A Talented D-Line Is Solidified by Jordan Davis

Jordan Davis, a defensive tackle out of Georgia, was selected by the Eagles with the 13th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. He will pick up knowledge from All-Pro Fletcher Cox, who this summer re-signed with the Eagles after ten years as their defensive line mainstay. Davis is a great potential for this defense and has already recorded some absurd plays during training camp.

The Eagles are trying to become better after finishing 18th in points allowed last season in order to give their growing offense some breathing room.

3)  Haason Reddick

Haason Reddick, a gifted pass rusher who amassed 11 sacks for the Carolina Panthers in the previous season after spending four years in Arizona, was their biggest free agent signing this offseason. He joins a defense that included Josh Sweat, Darrius Slay, and Jason Hargrave in the 2021 Pro Bowl. Reddick’s ability to put quarterbacks under pressure will be advantageous for Philadelphia. Last season, among all teams, the Eagles had the second-fewest sacks.

The Eagles will have the opportunity to reach double-digit victories and contend in the NFC East thanks to playing the third-easiest schedule in the NFL this season.
