2024 MLS Season: Start Date, Schedule & How To Watch

On Wednesday, the 2024 Major League Soccer schedule was made public.

The majority of teams will kick off their 2024 MLS seasons on February 24, when 11 matches are scheduled, even though the season will officially begin on February 21.

During the first week of the season, Inter Miami will play twice; four days after their home opener, they will travel to Los Angeles Galaxy.

Watch every match on MLS Season Pass

All of the action is back on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app, after a record-breaking first year of a ten-year relationship with Apple.

There are no bans and the MLS Season Pass is accessible in over 100 countries and regions. Through the Apple TV app on Apple devices, smart TVs, streaming devices, set-top boxes, game consoles, and online at tv.apple.com, fans can watch every Major League Soccer game as well as in-depth coverage and analysis.

Since MLS Season Pass and Apple TV+ are independent services, individuals who have Apple TV+ will still require an MLS Season Pass membership in order to view the whole game schedule, while those who do not have Apple TV+ can still sign up for MLS Season Pass without requiring an Apple TV+ subscription in its entirety.

A few MLS games will also air on the FOX family of networks in the United States (a total of 34 games), and on TSN and RDS in Canada (one weekly match showcasing an MLS Canadian team).

MLS season schedule

The regular season will run until Saturday, October 19, 2024, Decision Day, when the last matchday of the schedule with 14 games will take place.

Thirteen of each team’s 34 regular-season games will be played away from home.

The MLS Cup takes place on Saturday, December 7, to cap up the postseason. Whichever finalist with the best regular-season record will get to host.

In the period between Friday, July 26 and Sunday, August 25, Messi will try to defend the Leagues Cup championship he and Inter Miami own. MLS play is suspended for a month due to the Leagues Cup.
