2023 NFL Draft: Schedule, Date, Time, Venue & Order
Teams are now focusing on the 2023 NFL Draft in the hopes of snatching talent that can alter the course of their organisation after another spectacular NFL regular season.
The draught is just a few months away, and prospects are gathering to launch their professions and realise their goals. The Jacksonville Jaguars selected DE Travon Walker with the first overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. But if this season has taught us anything, it’s that every selection counts, from the top pick to “Mr. Irrelevant” at pick 262.
What will therefore occur this year?
Where is the NFL Draft this year?
The first draught took place in 1936, and from 1965 to 2015, it was hosted yearly in New York City. Locations are chosen after that based on competitive bidding.
In Kansas City, the National Football League clubs will meet for the 88th time this year. The event from the previous year took place in the Caesars Forum in Paradise, Nevada, near the Las Vegas Strip.
Malik Willis has reportedly “fallen out of favor” to be the Titans next franchise QB.
Willis could reportedly be traded if the Titans either trade up or select a QB in the first round of the NFL Draft.
Willis was selected by the Titans 86th overall in last year’s Draft.

Which is the 2023 NFL Draft Order?
With the Eagles and Chiefs scheduled to make the last two picks on Super Bowl Sunday, the order of the 2023 NFL Draft is all but decided.
Before the first round, expect greater swaying and shaking. There are probably still more dominoes to fall even after the Bears traded the Panthers for the number one pick.
The NFL Draft order for the first round is as follows, with only 31 teams having a pick since the Miami Dolphins have had theirs taken away.

As part of a pick exchange with New Orleans for the 2022 NFL Draft, the Eagles now have the Saints’ first-round selection.
As a result of the transaction that brought Deshaun Watson to Cleveland, the Texans currently possess the Browns’ first-round selection.
As part of the Russell Wilson trade deal, the Seahawks currently own the Broncos’ first-round selection.
As a result of the Matthew Stafford deal, the Lions currently own the Rams’ first-round selection.

Prior to the 2022 NFL trade deadline, the Broncos dealt pass-rusher Bradley Chubb to the Dolphins in exchange for a first-round choice. The 49ers previously owned that selection, which they sold to Miami as part of a deal to advance in the draught to choose Trey Lance in 2021.
The NFL fined the Dolphins for meddling with Tom Brady and Sean Payton, so they no longer have their own first-round pick.
In exchange for Sean Payton, the Broncos sent the Saints the selection they received in exchange for selling Chubb.
In April, the 32nd pick will be made by the Super Bowl 57 victor, while the 31st pick will go to the defeatist.

How the NFL creates the draft order
The NFL rates clubs according to their records when it comes to the draught. Players are chosen by teams with weaker records before those with better records. The Super Bowl winner often makes the last selection.
The NFL rates the first 18 choices for teams not in the playoffs from poorest to best regular season record. Teams with the easier strength of schedule win any tiebreakers.
The earlier a playoff team loses, the earlier they get to choose in the draught. The NFL Playoffs teams eliminated in the Wild Card Round receive the draught selections Nos. 19, Nos. 20, Nos. 21, Nos. 22, Nos. 23, and Nos. 24.
Multiple NFL scouts and GM’s reportedly believe Tank Dell is the “best route runner” in this year’s Draft.
Dell led all of college football last year in receiving yards and TD’s with 1,398 yards and 17 TD’s.

Again, any tiebreakers are determined by the strength of the schedule.
The teams who lose in the Divisional Round receive picks 25 through 28 in the NFL Draft. The clubs who lost their conference championship games receive the 29th and 30th draught choices.
The Super Bowl loser receives number 31, while the NFL champion receives number 32.

Who has the No. 1 Pick in the NFL Draft?
The No. 1 overall selection, which the Chicago Bears originally owned at the end of the season, was traded to the Carolina Panthers on March 10 by the Bears.
In a transaction including the Panthers’ ninth and 61st picks, a 2024 first-round pick, a 2025 second-round pick, and wide receiver DJ Moore, the Bears and Carolina reached an agreement to trade choices.
Only once in the Panthers’ history have they had the #1 pick in the draft, when they chose Auburn quarterback Cam Newton in 2011. There were numerous highs and lows over Newton’s nine seasons wearing a Panthers uniform. The decision taken in 2011 may not have turned out as Carolina had hoped, with seasons marred by injuries and losing records to the “Superman” era and a Super Bowl trip in 2015.
With a pick that they think will lead to a future Lombardi, first-year head coach Frank Reich and his team will now try to make things right.
