$16 Billion Worth Jerry Jones Makes an Honest Admission About His Heated Exchange With Fellow Billionaire and NFL Team Owner Robert Kraft

Being the owner of an NFL team is an extremely exclusive and prestigious role. For starters, to be in a position to acquire or own an NFL team requires a significant amount of wealth that very few people in the world have. In addition to that, being an NFL owner also requires individuals to collectively take decisions that will impact the league. In one such meeting, it appears as though NFL juggernauts Jerry Jones and Robert Kraft clashed over their views. 

Kraft and Jones own the Patriots and the Cowboys respectively, which are two of the biggest name in the NFL. Earlier this week all 32 owners gathered to open discussions regarding a new contract for NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

This is a post he has held since 2006 and In the last 16 years, Goodell has aided in the process of the NFL solidifying a new 10-year collective bargaining agreement, added a 17th game to the NFL regular season, established long-term broadcast deals and ensured that the 2020 COVID-19 season did not have any games canceled.

It is reported that Jones wanted more clarity on what bonuses Goodell would be entitled to. The Cowboys owner wanted the bonuses to be structured in a way where he would get them once certain expectations are met. However, that is where he clashed with Kraft. It is reported that in a fiery exchange Jones said to Kraft, “Don’t f**k with me”.

While there was no definite proof of this exchange between the two men, Jones’ recent statements on his bi-weekly appearance on 105.3 the fan radio station suggests that a fiery exchange between the two did in fact take place and shed further light on his behavior.

He said, “You express yourself with people you know and people you’re around a lot . . . in different ways,” Jones said, via Jori Epstein of Yahoo Sports. “I would say that in this particular case, it’s probably accurate that I did express myself in probably a way that’s not in good taste.”
