Santi Aldama Questionable For Wednesday
Memphis Grizzlies forward/center Santi Aldama (ankle) is considered questionable for Wednesday's game against Charlotte. He is in danger of missing a third consecutive game. The Spaniard is enjoying a good sophomore campaign and averages 9.6 points and 5.2 rebounds in 23.3 minutes on a nightly basis. He could have a very significant role to play on Wednesday with Brandon Clarke (hip) remaining out, but it remains to be seen if Aldama can get himself healthy for the game. If not, David Roddy, Xavier Tillman and Jake LaRavia have a chance to earn extended minutes, especially if Ziaire Williams (knee) also remains out.

Memphis Grizzlies forward Santi Aldama had his 2023-24 option picked up by the team on Saturday. As a rookie, the 21-year-old averaged just 4.1 points and 2.7 rebounds while shooting a hideous 12.5% from deep in 32 games last season. While those numbers aren't the best by any means, Aldama is projected to hold things down at the four spot while Jaren Jackson Jr. (foot) is sidelined. As a result, he's worth a roster spot in deeper formats, although Brandon Clarke may still outproduce him from off the bench.
