Josh Giddey Will Remain Sidelined Wednesday
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Josh Giddey (illness) will sit Wednesday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. Giddey will miss his third straight game due to a lingering illness and being ruled out over a day in advance is not very promising. Aaron Wiggins is in line for another start while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's usage rate should be through the roof. Gilgeous-Alexander should be a popular target in Wednesday's DFS slate.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Josh Giddey (ankle) will play Tuesday against the Orlando Magic. Giddey was originally ruled out over a day in advance, but upgraded to questionable before ultimately being listed as active and ready to play. The Thunder did this last week with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander so this could become a new normal from Oklahoma City. With Giddey back in action, Aaron Wiggins, Tre Mann and Jalen Williams will likely take a hit.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Josh Giddey (ankle) has been ruled out of Thursday's matchup against the Clippers. He sprained his right ankle in a meeting with Minnesota last weekend and already sat out Tuesday's clash with the Clippers. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had a monster game against his former team Tuesday night and is set to shine again. Tre Mann was also outstanding on Tuesday with 25 points and should remain a starter for OKC until Giddey can make it back to the court.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Josh Giddey (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Tuesday's matchup with the Los Angeles Clippers. Giddey sprained his right ankle in Sunday's loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves and is already being ruled out more than a day in advance, which does not bode well for his status moving forward. Giddey's absence should pave the way for more minutes for Tre Mann and Aaron Wiggins. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (hip) will also miss the game, so Aleksej Pokusevski may also see some time running the point. Mann has three-point upside, while Pokusevski is more of an all-around player for fantasy purposes.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Josh Giddey (ankle) exited Sunday night's game in the second half after spraining his right ankle. He stayed on the court for a while but was noticeably running gingerly. He finished the game with 10 points, two rebounds and five assists through 22 minutes of playing time. The Thunder are likely to be overly cautious with any injuries this season. Competing for a title probably isn't in the cards this year, so fantasy managers should check back for any updates on whether Giddey will be playing in the next game.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Josh Giddey had his third-year option picked up by the team on Saturday. The No. 6 overall selection of the 2021 NBA Draft averaged 12.5 points, 7.8 boards, and 6.4 assists in 54 games. Unfortunately, his rookie campaign ended early due to a hip injury. Giddey is now healthy heading into the 2022-23 season, where he will reclaim his role in the starting lineup. Without question, the 20-year-old should provide points, assists, and rebounds for category managers. However, he shot 26.3% from deep last season, so that will need to improve.
