Tyrese Maxey Returns To Starting Five
Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey (foot) will move back into the starting five for Wednesday's game against the Indiana Pacers. Maxey will make his first start since returning from his injured foot. He's likely starting because center Joel Embiid (foot) is out, so the Sixers want to get a boost on offense. It's unknown if Maxey will move back to the bench after this game. Regardless, he should continue to carry reliable fantasy value whether it's in the starting five or off the bench.

Tyrese Maxey Unavailable On Saturday
Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey (rest) won't suit up for Saturday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The young guard played for the first time in a month and a half on Friday. Understandably, the Sixers are going to take the cautious approach and rest Maxey in the second leg of this back-to-back set. Fellow guard James Harden (rest) will also be sidelined during this contest. That means, Shake Milton and De'Anthony Melton are going to play big roles on Saturday. Both players are looking like excellent fantasy options with two of the Sixers' starters sidelined.

Tyrese Maxey Logs Limited Practice, But Return Far Off
Philadelphia 76ers point guard Tyrese Maxey (foot) was able to participate in Wednesday's practice in an extremely limited fashion, Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports, but a return appears protracted, as he is still unable to jump. There was optimism that the third-year guard could return in 3-4 weeks from a broken left foot, but it appears Philly and fantasy managers will be facing some time added on. The 22-year-old was in the midst of a potential All-Star campaign, averaging 22.9 points per game, while shooting 42.2 percent from long range across his first 15 contests. James Harden and Shake Milton will continue to hold down ballhandling duties in Maxey's absence and can be seen to have elevated floors for as long as the guard is sidelined.

Tyrese Maxey Injures Foot Against Milwaukee

The 22-year-old was scorching before his night ended, amassing 24 points, five assists, and a block in only 21 minutes of work. The team announced he would have an MRI on Saturday.
