Obi Toppin Available To Play Wednesday
New York Knicks forward Obi Toppin (knee) is available to play on a "situational" basis Wednesday against the San Antonio Spurs. Toppin has not played since December 7th after suffering a fracture in his kneecap. Head coach Tom Thibodeau noted Toppin is available on a situational basis, meaning Toppin likely won't play unless there is garbage time. Toppin will need to get consistent practice time before making an impact.

New York Knicks forward Obi Toppin had his fourth-year option picked up by the team on Wednesday. The 24-year-old is a former eighth overall pick from the 2020 NBA draft. So far this season, he's averaged 9.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists on 57.1% shooting overall and 33.3% from deep. He's been an important piece off of the bench for head coach Tom Thibodeau's team. Fantasy-wise, he's better in deeper leagues until he starts seeing closer to 20 or more minutes per game.
