Doug McDermott Will Not Play Against Kings
San Antonio Spurs forward Doug McDermott (back) will sit Sunday's game against the Sacramento Kings. McDermott was questionable with a back injury, but was downgraded to out before tip-off. Malaki Branham, Josh Richardson and Stanley Johnson should all see increased minutes off the bench. Starters Keldon Johnson and Jeremy Sochan should also see a small bump in their respective roles.

He logged 16 minutes off the bench and grabbed five points and four assists with one rebound before exiting. McDermott missed one game with a left ankle sprain last week, so he's had some awful luck with injuries as of late. His status for Friday's clash with the Pelicans is currently unknown.
