Brusdar Graterol Activated From Injured List
Los Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Brusdar Graterol (elbow) was activated off the 15-day injured list prior to Thursday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Graterol had been sidelined since August 28th due to elbow inflammation. The right-hander also missed time before that due to a shoulder issue. When healthy, Graterol has been strong with a 3.02 ERA, 0.94 WHIP, three saves, and 39 strikeouts over 44 2/3 innings of work. He's expected to be an important piece to this bullpen during their postseason run.

Los Angeles Dodgers skipper Dave Roberts said there's "moderate concern" regarding relief pitcher Brusdar Graterol's elbow injury. The hope is that he's able to return in middle to late September, but it's not an ideal situation given that he's already missed significant time over the last six weeks. The 24-year-old right-hander was placed on the 15-day injured list on Thursday with an elbow issues and has been dealing with an inflamed right shoulder for quite a while. At this point, the Dodgers might just be hoping he's healthy enough to pitch in the postseason. While he's struggled in 2022, veteran Craig Kimbrel remains the team's closer, with Evan Phillips and Alex Vesia serving as high-leverage setup men in front of him in LA.
