Anthony Santander To Play For Venezuela In WBC
Baltimore Orioles outfielder Anthony Santander will play for Venezuela in the 2023 World Baseball Classic, per Baltimore Sun's Andy Kostka. The 28-year-old should add some pop to their lineup as he did for the O's in 2022, slashing .240/.318/.455 with 33 home runs and 89 RBI. Santander logged career-highs in both HR and RBI hitting in a more competitive lineup, and he should be a fantasy asset once again in 2023. He may even receive a slight fantasy boost if the O's make any off-season moves to bolster their existing lineup.
