Orlando Arcia Starting Rehab Assignment
Atlanta Braves infielder Orlando Arcia (hamstring) will begin a minor league rehab assignment with Triple-A Gwinnett on Saturday. The 28-year-old second baseman has been out since early August with a left hamstring injury but he's on track to return to the Braves sometime in early September. Arcia was slashing .243/.321/.405 with seven home runs and 26 RBI across 173 at-bats before going down. He'll likely serve in a bench/utility role when he returns to majors.
