Jameson Taillon Expects To Make His Next Start
New York Yankees starting pitcher Jameson Taillon (forearm, wrist) expects to make his next start after leaving his last start early after taking a comebacker off his right wrist. There was a little bruising and swelling on Friday, but he was able to throw in the outfield. Taillon believes he'll make his next scheduled start on Monday against the Minnesota Twins in the Bronx as long as he comes out of his bullpen session on Saturday with no issues. It's good news for a Yankees rotation that is currently without Luis Severino and Nestor Cortes. The 30-year-old Taillon has been steady for New York this year, going 12-4 with a 3.97 ERA (4.09 FIP), a 1.12 WHIP and a 117:24 K:BB in 140 2/3 innings over his 26 starts.

New York Yankees starting pitcher Jameson Taillon (forearm) exited Tuesday's game against the Angels at the end of the top of the second inning after getting hit in the right forearm with a line drive, per the team's Twitter account. Taillon had allowed two runs on two hits (including a home run) and no walks with two strikeouts. Fantasy managers may know more after the game, but they and the Yankees will hope that Taillon did not sustain a serious injury. The 30-year-old has been a serviceable fantasy option with a 12-4 record and a 3.97 ERA through 26 starts.
