Adam Frazier is handling the 6 on Wednesday and will bat seventh against Tigers left-hander Tyler Alexander. Frazier is a very low-upside DFS option. The 30-year-old has hit a mediocre .244/.309/.315 this year with only three homers, 33 RBI, 54 runs scored and eight stolen bases in 451 at-bats.

The Seattle Mariners placed infielder/outfielder Dylan Moore (oblique) on the 10-day injured list with a right oblique strain on Tuesday and recalled infielder Abraham Toro from Triple-A Tacoma in a corresponding move. Moore's injured list stint is retroactive to Aug. 29. The 30-year-old will be eligible to return from the IL on Sept. 9. In just 165 at-bats this year as a super-utility man for the M's, Moore has hit .206/.353/.388 with six home runs, 19 RBI, 31 runs scored and 15 stolen bases. He's been useful for his speed in deeper formats, but he may not see much more playing time down the stretch. Toro, who has hit .180 with eight home runs and 26 RBI in 84 games for Seattle, will serve as additional infield depth.

Seattle Mariners left-handed pitcher Matthew Boyd (elbow) will reportedly be activated at some point for the team's upcoming series against the Detroit Tigers, according to The Detroit News' Chris McCosky. McCosky notes in his tweet that the left-hander will pitch out of the bullpen for the Mariners. A starter for most of his career in the Majors, the left-hander previously made 15 starts for Detroit last season. In those 15 starts, he turned in a 3.89 ERA, a 4.10 FIP, 67 strikeouts, and 23 walks in 78.2 innings for the Tigers.

Seattle Mariners left-hander Matthew Boyd (elbow) tossed a scoreless and hitless inning in his latest minor league rehab outing for Triple-A Tacoma on Friday night, walking none and striking out two. Boyd has now made five rehab appearances for Tacoma and has allowed two earned runs and four hits while walking none and striking out 12 in seven innings pitched. The 31-year-old southpaw is getting close to being ready to make his 2022 season debut with the Mariners, where he'll provide Seattle's bullpen with a valuable and experienced relief arm. Boyd won't be much to look at for fantasy purposes, however, and he's never saved a game in his seven-year MLB career with the Toronto Blue Jays and Detroit Tigers.

Seattle Mariners outfielder Sam Haggerty (finger) left the game early on Friday against the Cleveland Guardians after taking a pitch off his fingers on a sacrifice bunt attempt in the eighth inning. He was in quite a bit of pain and was replaced in right field by Dylan Moore to start the ninth frame. Before leaving the game, Haggerty went 0-for-3 with three strikeouts, so all in all it was a pretty rough game for him. For now, he should be considered day-to-day, but it would be a surprise to see him in the lineup on Saturday. The 28-year-old has been solid in limited playing time this year, hitting .303/.349/.479 with an .828 OPS, four home runs, 15 RBI, 22 runs scored and 10 stolen bases in only 119 at-bats.

Seattle Mariners first baseman Ty France (calf) left Thursday's game against the Cleveland Guardians early with a right calf bruise. France went hitless in his only at-bat of the game before being replaced by Jake Lamb at the cold corner. Check back for more information on the severity of his injury, but for now, fantasy managers should consider the All-Star first baseman as day-to-day. If he's forced to miss time, Lamb, Carlos Santana and Dylan Moore are all options to fill in at first base. The 28-year-old made his first All-Star team in 2022, but he's hitting just .129 (9-for-70) with a home run, 10 RBI, five runs scored and 13 strikeouts in 17 games in the month of August.

Based on his outings in the minors, it looks like the Mariners will use him in relief when he's ready to make his season debut in Seattle, so he'll be pretty useless in fantasy.
