In his lone start against the Mariners in 2022, Gausman allowed two earned runs on seven hits while walking one and striking out three in five innings pitched while picking up a loss.

He hasn't allowed more than one earned run in any of his last four starts against the Orioles, Pirates, Angels and Yankees.

Toronto Blue Jays interim manager John Schneider said that starting pitcher Alek Manoah (illness) was scratched from his start in Game 1 of a doubleheader on Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Rays because he's fighting a stomach bug. Manoah is currently hydrating, and the team hopes he can recover enough to start in Game 2. Reliever Julian Merryweather is now listed as the starter for Game 1, but he'll likely only go an inning or two before making way for a bulk arm in the first game. The 26-year-old struck out one batter and didn't give up any hits or walks in a scoreless inning in his first rehab outing on Sunday for Single-A Dunedin. He has yet to pitch in a major-league game in 2022 due to injuries. With time running out in the regular season, Pearson will likely return to a relief role in Toronto down the stretch, severely limiting his fantasy value.

Espinal didn't play on Sunday in the series finale against the Pittsburgh Pirates, but he'll be back in there for Game 1 of the doubleheader Monday. The 27-year-old made the All-Star team for the first time in his career this year, and he's hitting .266/.320/.376 with seven home runs, 46 RBI, 44 runs scored and five stolen bases in 448 plate appearances over 120 games. He's been useful in deep mixed leagues in 2022, but he'll be a low-upside DFS play on Monday in the nine-hole.

In 380 at-bats in 2022, Hernandez is slashing .261/.313/.471 with 18 home runs, 59 RBI, 51 runs scored and six stolen bases as an outfield regular in a strong Toronto lineup.

DFS gamers should be able to find much better outfield options than Bradley on Saturday. George Springer will also move to center field for the first time since returning from the injured list. Fantasy managers need to keep him in their lineups. In 10 games played this month, he's gone 18-for-36 (.500) with no homers, nine RBI and seven runs scored.

Hernandez fouled a ball off of his foot during the game and was removed with what the team is calling a left foot contusion. The left-hander has pitched to a 2.88 ERA and a 3.93 FIP in 34.1 innings. He's also registered 27 strikeouts while walking just nine batters. Elsewhere, he's accumulated five wins and 11 holds. Toronto optioned fellow reliever Zach Pop to Triple-A to make room on the active roster for Mayza.
